Increible.
Our hearts are heavy, yet rejoicing, as we share the news that our beloved pastor and teacher John MacArthur has entered into the presence of the Savior. This evening, his faith became sight. He faithfully endured until his race was run.

"...for dust you are and to dust you will return." - Genesis 3:19
This is history for Christians as well as for astronomers. Carl Sagan liked to say that we are made of star stuff, but an important component of that star stuff is literally dust. It's everywhere in the Milky Way and is part of the stellar and planetary birth - death - rebirth cycle. This is the material of the Earth, and hence our bodies. When our lives are over, our material bodies will return to this seemingly endless cycle.
But the cycle is not endless. It will end when the universe reaches maximum entropy or when God creates the new Heaven and Earth. My guess is that God will end this version of the universe long before it reaches maximum entropy.
There are many lessons to take from Genesis 3:19, but for me this is one of the most important: The material world is temporary; we must not make our allegiance to it, but to the One who created it.

Six weeks and still depression-free.
Based off my experiences, I strongly suspect a lot of depression and anxiety is linked to lifestyle.
These are complex issues, and I'm not saying lifestyle fixes everything. But I strongly believe lifestyle is a major factor that can either be at the root of or a force-multiplier of mental health issues.
I became susceptible to anxiety and depression because of some terrible circumstances that went on for years. When the circumstances improved, but the anxiety and depression lingered, I needed to figure something out.
My general anxiety went away after I started a regimen of intense exercise (weightlifting and HIIT). I didn't start exercising with the intent of managing my feelings, but realized after a couple of months that the anxiety was just gone. The fact that it comes back if I stop lifting for more than a few days supports a causal link.
The depression was tougher to crack, but once I started going to bed and getting up earlier, it pretty much went away. Again, I didn't start doing this with the intent of managing depression, but I did notice a huge improvement after just a few days when nothing else had changed.
Over the last few years, I've also eliminated most ultra-processed foods, I rarely drink, I get sunlight and fresh air, I focus on spirituality, and I spend as much time with my favorite people as possible. I think all of that facilitated the positive changes that came with the exercise and sleep management.
It's like God (or nature, if that's all you believe in) intended us to live a particular way, and when we deviate from that, things don't go well.
Therefore, I think a great place to start when dealing with issues like anxiety and depression is a lifestyle overhaul.
