What a day at the 2026 Boston Marathon! Together we did it: we raised more than 93,000$ for the kids and families at the Metrowest YMCA. Thank you all for your support!

Honored to meet a living piece of women's and sport history: Bobbi Gibb, the first woman to run the Boston Marathon, 60 years ago. Back in 1966, the longest sanctioned race for female athletes for 1.5 miles due to supposed physiological differences.

The weather will be warmer soon, but in the meantime one can train with snow-shoes. Only a few weeks to race day. Let's celebrate together: music with @newtalians tomorrow (Saturday 7th) 8pm at Village Social Club in Brookline.

The cold weather brings surprises every time. Crystal Lake is frozen solid and you can run around or on it!

Today felt almost tropical: sunny, no wind, above freezing, passable sidewalks. This is what counts as a "perfect day for a run" in this area. Behind me, the lake covered in snow is really gorgeous.

On my way to the gym, first steps on untouched snow. The weather won't stop the team's training: today, 12 miles on a treadmill! And remember there's time until 4pm to win pizza delivery for the Super Bowl from Pini's Pizzeria. Any donation to MetroWest YMCA is a chance to win!

Hi friends, today the team program called for a 14-mile run. Given the poor condition of sidewalks in the Boston area, I did it on a treadmill. What better way to spend two hours than watching the most hilarious soapbox car crashes? 🙂

It may be hard to believe, but a marathon takes place every year in Antarctica. Today, in Boston, the temperature plunged to around 0°F (-17°C). Running outside felt less like training and more like an expedition.
