The main thing I attribute to my success (i had a lot of failed projects before this one) was eliminating all the distractions around me.
Everything that took mental energy away I got right off.
being a solo founder gives you so much freedom. More than any other business structure i'd say. But it can also be very lonely and isolating.
Sometimes i think i'd like cofunders. But then i would lose a lot of this freedom. It's tradeoffs.
distribution is important but so is product.
here i see a lot of people obsessed with distribution, but as soon as they stop advertising so do their sales & sign ups.
good products are recommended through worth of mouth which turns into a $0 cost marketing channel.

Sf definitely when it comes to tech start ups in general. But i'm not talking about venture backed start ups or delusional founders. Not that that's a bad thing, just a different game.
