🙏🇵🇸During the night the fighting sounded mostly further away. This morning I was informed that the army is retreating from my area. I am still scared, because they're still near of course, but I am relieved. I hope we will be able to sleep a bit. We are all exhausted. I also have more hope for a future in Egypt. Because I now no longer live in an active combat zone, we were able to set up the kitchen today. It was lovely to be able to serve meals to all the hungry people. This time they were quite impatient, which I didn't like. Of course I do understand. The situation we're in is horrific. People are hungry, tired and anxious. It will be wonderful to be able to give daily meals again. At times like these, we need to have a real community spirit. It is very important. Will you please help us continue being there for our neighbours? I also want to thank you. for your prayers, for thinking about us, your donations and the lovely words you wrote on X.
