@Oxfam: "3.5m people in Tigray are in urgent need of food assistance with 1m facing acute hunger. Unless humanitarian efforts are drastically scaled-up, the region could risk plunging into further starvation."

In northern Ethiopia, the federal Ombudsman says as many as 400 people starved to death over the past six months. Among the regions where the situation is most desperate is Tigray, due to the ongoing drought and conflict. Regional officials say they are 'on the verge of a humanitarian catastrophe' similar to the famine in the 1980s.

Polizei ist im Kern & in ihrer Entstehungsgeschichte eine patriarchale Institution - unabhängig davon, ob auch Frauen* als Polizist*innen arbeiten. Das bedeutet auch nicht, dass jeder Polizist sexuell nötigt oder übergriffig wird.
Und die Justiz legitimiert sie.
