What happens when an immortal falls in love with a mortal, but divine law demands absolute, unfeeling impartiality? For a being bound to the natural order, love is a quiet, agonizing sentence.

He is forced to be nothing more than a passive witness to her decay. He must stand perfectly still—expressionless and absolute—as the cruel hands of time slowly steal her away from him. He traces the growing lines on her face and feels the warmth leaving her frail hands, knowing every passing second drags her closer to an end he is strictly forbidden to prevent. He can oversee the birth and death of entire universes, but he is not allowed to save her.

A devastating glimpse into the story of Daishinkan and Juyayo. When her final breath fades, he is left behind in a cold, endless eternity, burdened by a grief he is not permitted to show and memories that will outlive the dying stars.

Into the vast, empty silence of the cosmos, he whispers a question she will never again answer: "How have you been?"... a desperate, echoing prayer from an immortal who would trade forever for just one more mortal day.
