We(me and my hostel friends) were discussing Kartagener syndrome over dinner (sort of an argument about its clinical manifestations like decreased mucociliary clearance, infertility, etc.), and I shouted, “WHAT DO YOU THINK THE TAIL OF SPERM IS MADE OF!?”as an argument in front of other people standing in line to pay the bill😭
As a med student, I sometimes forget forget it’s not normal to discuss such things outside campus 😭
Had the worst possible batch monitor in Ophthal last year. Almost 40 out of 53 people had to attend repeat lectures because of her incompetence.
We became the first batch ever to have repeats in the Ophthal department
Fyi she volunteered to become the batch monitor
@Pratham76616241 Ohh sad bhai baaki medicine lectures should always be bedside, easily samaj aata hai sabb jab sare examination findings dekhne milte ho
@Pratham76616241 Depends on the ward and unit
Medicine(bedside lectures) Radio ENT has excellent lectures
Surgery and Paedia(topics like SAM, Pneumonia, nephrotic are taught repeatedly so it becomes saturating) are strict for attendance
