I don't appreciate regularly being asked why I don't live in Dublin, or if I find the commute difficult. I can't afford to live here, I can't justify it if I could, and of course I don't like commuting. Gonna live with my mam forever because I have no choice, fuck off thanks.
just let me get the train to work, buy one of those weird folding electric bikes and keep doing a job i really like in a city i never have a hope of affording to live in. not asking for much from our incredibly evil and incompetent government.
a monthly train ticket would be €290. if there was any train after midnight, even just the one, at say 1am i could do this and save myself a fortune. awful stuff altogether. invest in public transport you awful bastards
going nyc on monday for a few days. someone tell me what's good to do there. I already have a list of shit but need more shit to see and do. where are the good charity shops. i am in so much debt
i'm looking at buying an older, less environmentally friendly van just to spite eamon ryan, because he is a cunt. still holding out that some day he might reward us all, by falling down a well.
i for one am very happy to be starting the process of moving back into town, to leave the awful, isolating, car dependent hole of rural ireland. i will save so much money
what is the cheapest way to buy cool music equipment in america or outside of ireland and have it shipped to my house? i want to buy a 60s ludwig kick drum or sunn amp in nyc for like $500 and not have to cripple myself financially to get it here
can somebody here on the internet tell me if there is such a thing as an archive of advertising and logos etc from ireland in the 70s/80s/90s, and where i might find such a thing?
have some work lined up, owed a bit of money, it's been a shite two years for everybody. might as well splurge now when i have the chance and have an absolute hooley. life is too short. this is my rationale
am i considering risking my car breaking down/falling apart/dying a death so that i can do a bunch of cool shit instead over the next 2 or 3 months, and hoping it lasts until after/i get a job&more money? why yes i am, absolutely
