The Star Between Us - Mogadishu, 1972
It was a Saturday morning in Mogadishu, and the air smelled of shaah and warm bread.
Aamina, Fadumo, and Sahra had spent an hour arguing over whose dirac looked best. In the end, they decided they all looked best together.
Their older brother had just come home from university with something new: a camera. "Stand still," he laughed. "This is for the future."
Fadumo held the flag between them. It wasn’t for a parade. It was just theirs. The blue reminded them of the sea they swam in after school. The white star reminded them of the stories their aabo told about independence.
"Smile like you mean it," their brother said.
So they did. Not posed smiles. Real ones. The kind that said: we are young, we are Somali, and the world is wide open.
They didn’t know that years later, that photo would travel. That people would call it "vintage." That strangers would look at it and see pride, elegance, and hope.
On that day, it was just three sisters on a dusty street, holding a flag and each other’s hands.
A moment frozen in time. Pride in the flag. Pride in the nation. 1972.
Tottenham came, asked to Man City "we want to buy Savinho and have 20 millions since he hasn't been playing." Okay, we are going to give you but tell the world that you buy us 70 millions. Deal 🤝 That’s the way that corrupt team in Manchester been doing in more than decades.
“Northeastern State has changed the political map. Lasanod can no longer be treated as the eastern edge of Somaliland’s project or the western extension of Puntland’s.” Abdurahman Nur

He should never call him back. Rashford has been bragging because of leaving Manchester United and playing Barcelona and finally Barca rejected him. No option left, that's why he is back. The only thing I don't like about Carrick. He may perform well but he is not good of the squad's mood.
