Controversial take: the best gym weight-loss routine is a lottery without at least an average digestion routine. Just find a stupid-simple calorie tracker to understand if you hit the required deficit.
I build one like this, it's called Digestrack - the first visual calorie tracker app.
Once your system adapts to whole foods and stable digestion, processed meals can hit like a shock — blood sugar swings, gut irritation, fluid shifts. The “hangover” isn’t dramatic; it’s your body finally sending clear signals because the baseline is clean.
If I wanted to solve the problem of reactivity to junk food, I’d track how long it takes to pass through digestion, which foods cause the strongest symptoms, and whether certain ingredients or combos (like seed oils + refined carbs) are the real trigger.

Eggs are nutrient-dense, affordable, and bioavailable — rich in choline, B12, lutein, and high-quality protein. For most people, dietary cholesterol from eggs doesn’t negatively impact blood lipids. Context matters more than blanket rules.
If I wanted to solve the problem of figuring out how well eggs actually work for my digestion and energy, I’d track how long they stay in my system and how I feel after different preparations — boiled vs. fried, with or without carbs, etc.

These habits create structure, reduce decision fatigue, and align well with circadian rhythm and metabolic efficiency. Most people don’t fail fat loss from lack of effort — they fail from inconsistency and hidden inputs like disrupted digestion or poor meal timing. As well imho if you're able to avoid alcohol for a month there is no point to drink at all.
If I wanted to solve the problem of stalled progress despite doing all of this, I’d track how each meal moves through my digestive system, which foods delay or improve motility, and how evening meals affect sleep and hunger the next day. Subtle adjustments often unlock the next level.

Exactly. “No added sugar” doesn’t mean “no impact.” Many of these products use high-glycemic starches, fruit concentrates, or sugar alcohols that still raise blood glucose — just without labeling it as sugar. Marketing ≠ metabolic neutrality.
As well it's said to be that food is considered "with added sugar" if it has more sugar per serving, TicTac is the perfect example - they are basically sugar but as far as each candy is so small the whole pack is labeled "sugar-free"
If I wanted to solve the problem of unexpected glucose spikes or cravings after eating “health foods,” I’d track how long those foods stay in my digestive system and how they actually affect satiety and energy. Labels don’t show what your body really experiences.

That’s a smart and sustainable plan — consistent protein intake, meal timing, resistance training, and behavioral feedback (photos, measurements) create real body composition change without extremes. Most people don’t fail from lack of effort — they fail from lack of clarity.
If I wanted to solve the problem of why belly fat isn't shifting despite doing all of this, I’d track how meals move through digestion, whether bloating or heaviness persist, and how meal timing affects gut motility. Sometimes the issue isn’t stored fat — it’s retained bulk or poor elimination.

The label “superfood” loses meaning without context — nutrient density only matters if the nutrients are bioavailable and digestible. Spinach and kale are rich in micronutrients but also high in oxalates. Eggs, oysters, and bone broth offer highly absorbable nutrients critical for metabolism, gut health, and repair.
If I wanted to solve the problem of knowing which “superfoods” actually benefit my body, I’d track how each one moves through my digestive system, how it impacts satiety, energy, and inflammation. The real superfood is the one your gut handles well.

Exactly. Most people labeled “unmotivated” are just stuck in decision fatigue or physiological burnout. When structure reduces friction and meals support real energy — not just spikes — momentum follows naturally.
If I wanted to solve the problem of overwhelm around food and health habits, I’d track how my meals affect digestion speed, clarity, and hunger recovery. That data helps build routines that feel doable — not draining.

That’s a key distinction. Skipping meals without structure often leads to rebound behavior — not because of weakness, but because your biology is trying to compensate. Stability in energy and digestion comes from planned, purposeful fueling — not forced deprivation.
If I wanted to solve the problem of reactive eating or crashes later in the day, I’d track how long each meal actually keeps me fueled, how fast it clears the system, and when hunger truly returns — not just when the clock says so.

There’s truth in that — disconnection from natural rhythms, food sources, and real community has come with real costs. Our environment shifted faster than our biology could adapt. Chronic stress, processed food, disrupted digestion — they don’t just damage the body, they dysregulate the mind.
If I wanted to solve the problem of feeling unwell in a system that no longer supports vitality, I’d track how real food moves through my body — what nourishes, what inflames, what grounds. Restoring internal rhythm often starts with understanding digestion.

It’s a reflection of how quickly industrialization reshaped food systems — from soil depletion to synthetic additives. What used to be the baseline is now a premium label. And our bodies haven’t evolved nearly as fast as our supply chains have.
If I wanted to solve the problem of figuring out which modern foods still work well with my digestion, I’d track how different meals affect my GI transit time, fullness, and inflammation — because the real issue often isn’t the label, but how your system processes what’s in it.

That makes sense — some people aren’t truly lactose intolerant, but rather have poor gut lining integrity or an imbalance in their microbiome. Fermented or raw dairy, which contains live enzymes and lower lactose levels, can sometimes be tolerated when pasteurized dairy isn’t.
If I wanted to solve the problem of figuring out which dairy products my body can actually handle, I’d track how each type — raw, aged, fermented, pasteurized — moves through my digestive system and how I feel at each stage. That helps differentiate between intolerance and poor digestion timing.

@xSoulCode Totally agree. There is many ways to drop weight indeed, but i find keto (or very low carb) has an extra push on dropping weight.
Also feeling great at weightlifting and also my long rides with my MTB
@JDrewsyBC Yeah, but for me constipation is a real pain, so leveling up my fiber intake is key!
And also using Digestrack to track the whole food journey through my body and learning how to adjust.
Beef heart is one of the most nutrient-dense cuts available — rich in potassium, B vitamins, iron, and CoQ10, all of which support energy metabolism and cardiovascular health. It’s lean, affordable, and far more bioavailable than most supplements trying to do the same job.
If I wanted to solve the problem of low energy or poor recovery despite eating well, I’d track how nutrient-dense meals like beef heart affect my digestion, transit time, and post-meal energy. Some benefits aren't visible until you see how efficiently your body handles them.
