Huge thanks to the Cypriot police officer who gave us a lift back to our car after our hike down the Kaledonia Trail today. He stopped his car, asked where we were headed and offered a lift without hesitating. Saved us a good 2 hour walk!! Top Bloke!!!

Nearly every weekday, dozens of tenants arrive at the Gee Street Courthouse in Clerkenwell to learn whether they will be able to keep their home.

I went along to a day of possession hearings, where landlords attempt to take back their properties.

@NottinghamsPast I was fascinated by this case as a child. Since there were only 17 Diggles in the Nottm ‘phone book then, chances are he is some sort of ancestor. Also relevant is the fact that he shot Kerry 3 times in the head and was convicted of attempted murder. Typical Diggle incompetence!
