@PatBergie We're reliving the 90s through a nostalgia for the mini-desktop microphone. In all seriousness, it does improve accuracy compared to my headset and webcam mic. I don't have the Movo one though, a cheaper brand.
@ScotRail Your new app needs to handle null returns from the API in the favourite journey widget. It should show ‘No journeys today’ instead of this. I’d recommend adding invariant checks before render too, in case this issue shows up elsewhere in the app.
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.
The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.
Access to all other Claude models is not affected.
We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible.

People are testing Anthropic’s Claude with basic logic questions as a predictor of how well it will perform in a session.
One of these is the ‘walk or drive to the car wash question’.
I have never seen Opus 4.5 or 4.6 say another other than drive. But Opus 3’s reasoning is a sight to behold.
I'm part of a team that has drawn up AI principles for the social services workforce in Scotland. If you work in social care, I'd really appreciate a few minutes of your time to complete the survey. Responses will help inform the learning resources to support people apply the principles in practice. https://t.co/tdMdhdK9Sm
Like the L&D cousin of Mark Renton in that Trainspotting monologue - choose order taking, choose comfortable irrelevance, choose measuring your worth in SCORM completions - I chose not to choose that. I chose something else. Specifically, I chose the Learning and Performance Institute’s Performance Consulting Masterclass. https://t.co/J2RK2I2hh1
Over annual leave, I updated my demo Open Badge generator to support the Open Badges 3.0 standard. It's exciting to watch Open Badges move from niche interest to a widely recognised standard in verifiable credentials. https://t.co/1YoCUDGKcQ
I’m visiting the UK’s National Robotarium today and have no idea what to expect. Other than robots, AI and data science. Never knew we had something like this, so it’s going to be an interesting day - https://t.co/H6QGp78ky7
