Transparency is essential for responsible AI.
Many AI systems operate as “black boxes,” making it hard to understand how decisions are made. Digital literacy means asking critical questions:
Is this automated? What data was used? Can it be challenged?
#AI#ResponsibleAI
AI technologies can both enable and help prevent technology-facilitated gender-based violence.
While tools like deepfakes, impersonation bots, and AI-driven harassment pose serious risks, AI can also support content moderation and abuse detection.
#AI#OnlineSafety#TFGBV
AI safety starts with the data behind the system.
When datasets fail to represent women and girls, AI outputs can reinforce inequality. Understanding the data lifecycle helps build more transparent, fair, and accountable technologies.

This International Women’s Day, we highlight the importance of protecting women from online harassment, digital surveillance, and exclusion from technology spaces.
