last night i was driving on the freeway and a car was coming straight towards us in my lane driving the WRONG WAY on the freeway. we were both going at least 60mph. they didn’t move their car at all when they saw me, just headed straight towards us. i had to swerve into the lane next to me and missed them by only a few inches. not even exaggerating i truly don’t know how we’re alive. i felt like i wasn’t even the one driving at that moment like my thoughts were completely blank but somehow my body just moved my car out of the way. we got off the freeway had panic attacks and called 911 about the wrong way driver.

what’s weird is when i got into my car before leaving i moved the steering wheel down and in my head i said “i don’t want the airbag to hit me in the face.” like my gut knew something scary was going to happen.

just really happy and grateful we’re alive tbh.
