Corbyn: "I've no doubt that this movement will eventually run in elections. However, to create a new, centralised party, based around the personality of one person, is to put the cart before the horse...only once strength is built from below can we challenge those at the top." Yes
Why does a terrible attack on Ukrainian children bring about an immediate response from our new Prime Minister @Keir_Starmer while he has said nothing about the horrible slaughter of Palestinian children in nine months of relentless mass murder?
Just to put this in context by 29 Oct 2023, barely a month into the Israeli assault, Save the Children declared that the number of children killed in Gaza was more than all those killed globally since 2019.
Why is the mass-murder of Palestinian children less upsetting to him than an attack on those in Ukraine?
🚨 NEW: Keir Starmer received fewer votes than Jeremy Corbyn did in both 2017 and 2019
2017 - 12,887,918 votes (Corbyn)
2019 - 10,269,051 votes (Corbyn)
2024 - 9,686,329 votes (Starmer)

Jeremy Corbyn has massively won in Islington North, which highlights the local popularity that he has in the constituency. This is also a blow to Starmer, who has failed to oust him as an MP with a Labour HQ picked candidate.

George Galloway has lost Rochdale. This could indicate that the issue of the war in Gaza has waned slightly among voters in this general election compared to the local election. #GeneralElection2024
