It was fun to learn more about #javascript, #nodejs & #mongodb while following the @learnwebcode tutorials on @udemy 💻

This was my first taste of full stack development. While I'm still a long way from building something like this on my own, it helped give me a baseline😀

So far I can only get 2 variables to print on the screen from the chessboard challenge in #eloquentjavascript

Although I'm sure you can store what's in console.log in a variable so maybe my approach for this #javascript challenge is wrong 🤷‍♂️

That's more like it. Finally cracked the chessboard challenge in the Eloquent #javascript book 🤓

I'm sure there are other ways of logging this out to the console, but for now I'm going to work on making it appear on the page via #HTML🧑‍💻

@G__OC It’s a reference to the IRA (rah) who are a terrorist organisation who planned attacks against the British for decades to gain independence for the Republic of Ireland. So you could say it’s insensitive to British people.

In an attempt to get out of #tutorialhell I decided to test how much I learnt from creating a To Do List application. I retained about 95% of the code.
I'm pretty happy about that 😀
Also a good chance to leave notes for future Donn 🤓
