Vocal ensemble, Schola Hyberniae, performing piece from a 15th century manuscript ‘Clondalkin Breviary’ at a celebration of the @tcdlibrary’s medieval manuscript digitisation project this evening. #VirtualTrinityLibrary#MedievalManuscripts
One of our Senior Digital Photographers, Caroline Harding, will be speaking at the symposium on the #digitisation techniques employed in the photography of many of these stunning manuscripts. A truly behind the scenes view. Not to be missed. #VirtualTrinityLibrary#MedievalMss
If you can't get in to see this exhibition in person, don't despair! The images are online here https://t.co/15kaMPI08j. Many thanks to @gillwhelanphoto@DigitalColl and John Gillis of our Conservation Dept for their help.
As today is #WorldTourismDay, who is escaping the rain by visiting @BookOfKellsTCD + the #LongRoom? Due to #TCDOldLibrary Redevelopment Project there are not many books left on the shelves, but we have an exhibition of the Bollmann Collection of fore-edge paintings & bindings
Happy @HeritageWeek Eve! As you can imagine we❤️ all things heritage, and can't wait to make the most of what's on. A few @tcddublin events include a Library talk about our @BookOfKellsTCD#Fagel exhibition. The School of Geology is hosting an event and @TCDZooMuseum is open!

Happy #InternationalArchiveDay 2023!
So many exquisite collections, culturally rich archives and not enough hours in the day to explore them all.

As well as being on display physically at present, you can also view this copy of Shakespeare's First Folio in full, virtually, on Digital Collections: https://t.co/HdOeH0iBpx #Folio400#VirtualTrinityLibrary
Ireland's only copy of the first published edition of Shakespeare’s plays is going on display at Trinity College Dublin. The First Folio is one of the most sought-after books in the world, and Trinity's copy has some mysterious markings which may yet tell a tale of their own...
The prints have been digitised by @DigitalColl for #VirtualTrinityLibrary

#OTD in 1940 Elizabeth Corbet Yeats died and we wanted to share her photograph album containing photographs of Dun Emer and Cuala Industries, and their members of staff and premises. Many of the photographs were presumably taken by Elizabeth herself.
We found this 'nugget' in the British Library Newspapers archive. Even in 1852 our Library collection was enviable. ;) Read our latest blog highlighting our extensive database resources. https://t.co/ZJmxCxDjHv
