@BarryWhitlow@JoeBiden All the schools in my county and surrounding counties have resource officers that are either trained vetted sheriff's deupites or city police officers armed and always present
@AdamKinzinger Letting teachers be armed that want to be armed and have the capacity to use one is not stupid. Several schools in Ohio have signs on the entries informing people staff is armed
@CliffBarackman I imagine, when the snow is compressed, it removes the air gaps between the ice molecules. It now becomes a thermal mass to help retain its current temp as each molecule shares the heat gain slowly rather than layer by layer melt away by the air gaps keeping a thermal void
@joshgad Directly correlates with removing paddling from school. Bullies were kept in check by either getting their mouth punched even if they still won the fight, they learn the consequence if getting punched isnt worth it, or for the kids unable to fight for themselves, paddling did
@MollyJongFast It is possible for people to see that increasing background checks will not alleviate gun violence even slightly, and them still not agree with gun violence.
I'm old school, this ever increasing violence can likely be traced back to when paddling was removed from schools.
@jen_williams@KatieHill4CA I'm only against it as birth control for consentual encounters. If the woman does not consent then she should not suffer the consequence, or if there is a legitimate high risk to mothers life.
@EMJ_06_ @breannaleigh91 @KatieHill4CA This is not my belief but is a question that reading this generated. If the woman consents to carry the baby to term, why does the male not get to withdraw his consent in the form of child support?
@OzGoofyPrincess@HornFrogger@j_leon70@KatieHill4CA The only thing i tried to convey was cause and action for consequences. In this case your consequence is the money you spent and the time you spent. There isnt anything you can do to undo those, unless you want to rob a bank and justify it.
