Built Baker Wars as a day project after seeing @theo demo Lakebed.
I worked with Codex, and each finished change went to Lakebed so my buddies could see each change live. Auth was easy, global scores took almost no time. Thanks for building it, @theo

I’ve wanted to play something like this again for a while, so I made my own version I could share with friends and keep adding to. I even matched that old Windows 95/98/2k look because it felt right.
Baker Wars is a bakery-market trading game. Buy ingredients, watch prices, bake what you can, sell before things go stale, and try to pay down debt before the 30 days are up.
Should've led with this at launch:
Coeus runs on free-tier agents out of the box. Gemini, Kilo, OpenCode, Qwen Code. No paid subscription required.
I built it on ACP with direct API support so it's not locked to one vendor's CLI.

I've been trying to build this thing since 2014. Tried it in React, Rails, even Clojure. Never got it right.
Then LLMs happened and suddenly the missing piece was obvious.
Today I'm launching the beta. It's called Coeus.

It's a beta and it acts like one. I use it every day but you will hit bugs and weird quirks. It's getting consistent updates and I want to hear about what breaks or what's missing.
macOS and Linux now. Windows is next. Free during beta.

Eric Dane passed away on February 19th from ALS. @netflix released his final message at his request. He recorded it before the disease took his voice. Still sitting with what he said. https://t.co/I7frzzhk88
@AdolfoUsier Well the write up tells you but in case you haven't read it. I'd say focusing on creating agents that have specific models has been the biggest saver since it's a common trap for people to just turn on opus or codex & have it do everything including being in the main conversation
I wrote up how I actually run OpenClaw after a few months of real use.
No hype, no magic. Just how I keep costs predictable, avoid loops, and make it useful day to day.
