@jamesdatmse @pranman + The children's clothing VAT exemption is based on clothing size rather than the child's actual age. Eg, a tall 12yo might need age 14 clothes and thus incur VAT, which is unfair, esp. when specific retailers are mandated for school uniforms.

@Atlantic_CM @Jenny_1884 Not entirely accurate the UK has various ‘global interests’ that make it much higher. + India and China are over 1/3 of the global population so that adds up, the odd one out is the US.

@dumbasjax This was the norm for many headphones in late 90s early 2000s, you put the left in then wrap the right around the back of your neck that way the wires don’t dangle in front of you.
