Yes some ppl can have really clear artistic visions that create good art but trusting that everyone is going to be this artistic genius in a vacuum is setting the system up for failure. Let writers have freedoms, but also editors. Let these ppl bring their teams.There’s a balance

I like seeing people slowly wake up to the fact that writing is a skill. The movies you are watching or stories you are reading feel unfulfilling? It’s because they’re narrative overindulgence or ‘cool idea’ without any collaboration or thought that isn’t driven by a bottom line-

I know, because I can already see it, that the recent string of indie successes is gonna be spun as we need to get some new fresh faces in to liven the place up with new ideas! But nothing is gonna change if creative environments these ideas are being placed in stays the same.
