๐ From a Wild Idea to a Crowd Favorite! ๐
Back in my 3rd year, I randomly decided to demo Non-Newtonian Fluids at IISc Open Dayโgot a pool, tons of cornstarch, & made Oobleck! Kids LOVED it. ๐
The event also included a tour of our state-of-the-art AFMM facility, where I had the wonderful opportunity to interact with students, introduce them to Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), and discuss its versatile use cases in surface properties characterization.
Thrilled to be part of the organizing team for the "Microscopy and Microanalysis Workshop on Research and Development" at IISc, organized by the Advanced Facility for Microscopy and Microanalysis (AFMM) and generously funded by Bruker and DIR-COE, IISc.
This workshop aimed to introduce various microscopy and microanalysis tools to students and faculty from resource-limited institutions in and around Bangalore, providing them with exposure to advanced characterization techniques.
Honored and grateful to receive the Best Poster Presentation Award at the 38th Annual Studentsโ Symposium, IISc! ๐
A big thank you to my advisor, Prof. Sachin Rondiya for his constant support and guidance. Looking forward to many more opportunities to share and refine my work!๐
๐ Many congratulations to Dikshant for winning the Best Poster Presentation Award at the 38th Annual Studentsโ Symposium, IISc! ๐ Back-to-back victories! Keep that smile on your face and enjoy your research journeyโmany more achievements await you! @dikshant_afria@RondiyaGroup
Perovskite India 24 #HyPe24 Day 1:
A must attend talk delivered by Prof Prashant V. Kamat (@KamatlabND), the Editor in Chief, ACS Energy Letters, into "Mastering the Art of Scientific Publication".
KAUST, Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin present 31.2%-efficient blade-coated perovskite-silicon tandem solar cell: The perovskite-silicon tandem device has a two terminal configuration and a 2D perovskite layers at the bottomโฆ https://t.co/Z2OcEmPOoB #Renewables#Energy#Technology
A new twist on electron-hole exchange interaction! A collaboration led by Joon Jang (Sogang Univ, S. Korea): Contrary to expectations, the strongest biexciton binding in Br-based 2D perovskites occurs at n=2, not n=1, due to phase transitions. https://t.co/PI3PsnUWb1
@TisdaleWA@DouLetian A great read indeed, professor. Highly interesting work. Have been following Prof Dou's work on 2D Perovskites for a while. Knowledgeable insights and highly relevant work.
Big milestone! ๐ The best-in-class #perovskite/silicon tandem #solar cell now hits 33.7% efficiency, published @Nature, achieved @longi_solar.
An exciting leap forward from the first #perovskite cell in 2009 to industry now driving development. Congrats!
