TRAI on Only SMS-Calling Plans: ટેલ��કોમ રેગ્યુલેટરી ઓથોરિટી ઓફ ઇન્ડિયા (TRAI)એ મોબાઇલ યુઝર્સ માટે મોટો નિર્ણય લીધો છે. ટેલિકોમ યુઝર્સ સંરક્ષણ (તેરમું સંશોધન) વિનિયમન, 2026 જાહેર કર્યો છે. આ નવા નિયમ અંતર્ગત ત��ામ ટેલિકોમ કંપનીઓએ એવા રિચાર્જ પ્લાન પણ આપવા પડશે, જેમાં માત્ર કોલિંગ અને SMSની સુવિધા હોય, ડેટા નહીં.

લાંબી વેલિડિટી વાળા પ્લાન માટે પણ નિયમ
ટ્રાઇએ સ્પષ્ટ કર્યું છે કે 30 દિવસથી વધુની વેલિડિટી ઇચ્છતા ગ્રાહકો માટે પણ દરેક કંપનીએ ઓછામાં ઓછો એક એવો પ્લાન રાખવો પડશે જેમાં ડેટા વગર માત્ર કોલિંગ અને મેસેજિંગની સુવિધા હોય. રેગ્યુલેટરે ટેલિકોમ કંપનીઓને આ પ્લાનની કિંમતો વ્યાજબી અને ડેટા પ્લાન્સ કરતાં નોંધપાત્ર રીતે ઓછી રાખવા સૂચના આપી છે, જેથી ગ્રાહકો પર આર્થિક બોજ ઘટે.

SAUDI ARABIA INTERCEPTS HOUTHI DRONE NEAR MECCA

Saudi air defenses destroyed a Houthi drone south of Mecca before it entered restricted airspace over Islam’s holiest city.

Saudi Arabia says this was the Houthis’ second attempt to target Mecca, following a ballistic missile launch in 2017.

The Houthis deny targeting the city.

The Saudi-led coalition says the security of Mecca is a “red line.”

NPCI એ UPI મર્ચન્ટ ડિસ્કાઉન્ટ રેટ (MDR) ફ્રેમવર્ક લાગુ કર્યું છે. આ ફ્રેમવર્કમાં 2000 રૂપિયાથી ઓછાના તમામ UPI ટ્રાન્ઝેક્શન અને નાના મર્ચન્ટ ટ્રાન્ઝેક્શન (P2PM) ને સંપૂર્ણપણે ફ્રી રાખવ��માં આવ્યા છે. એટલે કે 2000 રૂપિયા સુધીના ટ્રાન્ઝેક્શન પર કોઈ ચાર્જ નહીં લાગે. જ્યારે 2000 રૂપિયાથી વધુની રકમ પર 0.4% ચાર્જ આપવો પડશે. જોકે મહત્તમ ચાર્જ 300 રૂપિયા જ રહેશે.

કોના પર કેટલો ચાર્જ લાગશે?
રૂ. 2000 સુધીના પેમેન્ટ: કોઈ ચાર્જ નહીં.
રૂ. 2000થી વધુના પેમેન્ટ: વેપારીએ 0.4%નો MDR આપવો પડશે. ઉદાહરણ તરીકે 5000 રૂપિયાના પેમેન્ટ પર વેપારીએ 0.4% એટલે કે 20 રૂપિયા ચાર્જ આપવો પડશે.
રૂ. 75000 અને તેથી વધુના પેમેન્ટ: MDR ની મહત્તમ સીમા રૂ. 300 પ્રતિ ટ્રાન્ઝેક્શન રહેશે. એટલે કે 1 લાખ રૂપિયાના પેમેન્ટ પર 0.4% લેખે 400 રૂપિયા નહીં, પરંતુ માત્ર 300 રૂપિયા જ ચાર્જ આપવો પડશે.

યુપીઆઈ QR કોડ દ્વારા દર મહિને રૂ.1 લાખ સુધીનું પેમેન્ટ મેળવતા નાના વેપારીઓને MDRમાંથી છૂટ આપવામાં આવશે. એટલે નાના દુકાનદારો અને વેપારીઓ માટે આ વ્યવસ્થામાં વધારાનો ચાર્જ નહીં આવે.
-રેલવે, વીમા, પેટ્રોલ પંપ, વીજળી-પાણી જેવા યુટિલિટી બિલ અને શિક્ષણ ફી જેવા ક્ષેત્રોમાં રૂ.2,000થી વધુના પેમેન્ટ પર 0.4% MDRની જગ્યાએ માત્ર રૂ.5 પ્રતિ ટ્રાન્ઝેક્શનનો ફ્લેટ ચાર્જ લાગશે.
-મ્યુચ્યુઅલ ફંડ, સિક્યોરિટીઝ અને સ્ટોક બ્રોકર્���ને કરવામાં આવતા પેમેન્ટ પર 0.02% MDR લાગશે. અહીં પણ પ્રતિ ટ્રાન્ઝેક્શન મહત્તમ ચાર્જ રૂ.300 નક્કી કરવામાં આવ્યો છે.

નવો MDR નિયમ શું છે?
આ એક ચાર્જ છે જે વેપારીઓએ UPI ના માધ્યમથી 2000 રૂપિયાથી વધુના પેમેન્ટ લેવા પર આપવો પડશે. આ ચાર્જ ગ્રાહકો પર લાદવામાં આવશે નહીં, તેમના માટે UPI પહેલાની જેમ જ મફત રહેશે. આ નિયમ 15 ઓક્ટોબર, 2026 થી લાગુ થશે.

ફોટો મંગાવવાથી એક ફાયદો એ થઈ રહ્યો છે કે હોસ્પિટલો સાફ સુથરી જોવા મળી રહી છે... સમગ્ર ઘટના ત્યાંથી શરૂ થઈ છે કે થોડા દિવસ પહેલા આરોગ્ય મંત્રીએ વડોદરા અને રાજકોટની સરકારી હોસ્પિટલની મુલાકાત લીધી હતી એ સમયે ગંદકી જોવા મળી હતી જે જ��ઈને આરોગ્ય મંત્રીએ ખખડાવ્યા હતા અને બાદમાં આરોગ્ય મંત્રી ��ોજ હોસ્પિટલોમાં સાફ સફાઈ થઈ છે કે નહીં તેના ફોટાઓ મંગાવી રહ્યા છે...

The people of Saudi Arabia will not easily forget what Shehbaz Sharif and Asim Munir supporters did.

After the Mecca defense pact was signed, Team 93k supporters started generating and sharing AI photos of their soldiers hugging Arab women, portraying it as if Pakistan’s military was now responsible for protecting Saudi Arabia and its people.

But now that Saudi Arabia is facing an attack, where is all that promised protection?

The Saudi government may sign agreements with Team 93k or make whatever diplomatic arrangements it wants, but people will remember the embarrassment caused by those supporters especially the disrespectful use of AI generated images involving Saudi women to make political propaganda.

Saudi culture places great importance on the dignity, honor, and protection of women. Turning women into props for military propaganda was deeply disrespectful.

In the end, I sincerely hope peace prevails and innocent people everywhere remain safe.

For nearly two years, monk Chinmoy Krishna Das has been behind bars in Bangladesh.

He was arrested in 2024 while he was protesting against the atrocities faced by Hindus in Bangladesh.

While Chinmoy was in prison, his elderly mother was living through her final days. Her last wish was to see her son.

The family requested parole so that Chinmoy could meet his seriously ill mother, but it was not granted in time.

She died without seeing her son for the last time.

Chinmoy Krishna Das was granted 5 hours of parole to attend her funeral and take part in her last rites.

Meanwhile, Jashimuddin Rahmani, the chief of the terrorist organization Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT), was released on parole in 2024. Later, he was also released on bail.
