2 years ago today, WAEC deleted this 2016 video confirming that Peter Obi moved Anambra State from 27th to 1st in WAEC rankings, all because of that guy in Aso Rock.
Food Aid is ploughs, tractors, fertilisers, irrigation, storage facilities n dams.
Rice, wheat n GMO seeds are not food aid, it is a way to keep the people weak n impoverished- Thomas Sankara
Many graduates leave school believing they are qualified because they passed examinations, while employers reject them because they cannot perform in real-world environments.
Employers complain daily about graduates who cannot think critically, solve problems, communicate effectively or demonstrate basic discipline.
Schools are factories where the workforce is manufactured.
Industry is where that workforce is consumed.
Perhaps the biggest problem in education is that the factories rarely hear directly from the people consuming their products.
Yet I've never seen a major forum where CEOs, HR leaders, university Vice Chancellors, secondary school principals and Ministries of Education sit together to discuss one uncomfortable question:
"What exactly is wrong with the graduates we are producing?"
Imagine a conference where industry leaders openly present the frustrations they face in recruitment and educators are forced to listen.
In manufacturing, if a factory keeps producing defective products, customers complain and the factory adjusts its process.
But in education, the "customers" (industry) complain continuously while the "factories" (schools and universities) rarely receive structured feedback from those consuming their output.
This is one reason skill gaps persist year after year.
In fact, Nigeria and much of Africa may need an annual Education-Industry Alignment Summit, where employers openly grade the quality of graduates and schools respond with concrete reforms.
HR professionals and CEOs should be able to tell schools the skills they wish could be taught to support modern changing workplace.
This could become one of the most important education initiatives on the continent.
What do you think?
“If anybody is telling tinubu ‘all is well’; it is lies.
How does a country run without a budget? Selective financing of budget? And we have borrowed and borrowed, where’s the money we’re borrowing?
They are lying to Tinubu. Nigeria is sinking..”
SOWORE BEING SENT TO PRISON: A DANGEROUS REGRESSION FOR OUR DEMOCRACY
I have received, with deep concern, the news of the court’s remand of citizen activist Omoyele Sowore in Kuje Prison.
While the judiciary remains the ultimate arbiter of justice, we must consistently guard against any trend that gives the appearance of state institutions being weaponised to systematically stifle dissent, muzzle the press, or shrink the legitimate space for civic engagement in Nigeria.
A thriving democracy does not survive on the silencing of opposing voices; rather, it is anchored on the robust protection of fundamental human rights, most notably the freedoms of expression and peaceful assembly, as enshrined in our Constitution. Moreover, our society is already strained by insecurity and biting economic hardship; therefore, deliberate steps should be taken, even by the courts, to avoid inflaming the situation.
When we begin to treat citizen critics, activists, and journalists as threats to state survival rather than as partners in building accountability, we signal a dangerous slide toward authoritarianism. Our current challenges, ranging from economic strain to internal security vulnerabilities, require inclusive dialogue and cohesive nation-building, not the incarceration of those who demand a better society.
I urge the relevant authorities to ensure that the rule of law is strictly adhered to, that Mr. Sowore’s constitutional rights are fully protected, and that our security and judicial institutions are used solely for the impartial administration of justice. We cannot build a New Nigeria if we continue to undermine the very democratic structures meant to protect us all. -PO

These Police Officers just parked me at Bolade, Oshodi, pointed guns at me, and forced me to transfer N100,000 them. When my bank app showed "exceeded transfer limit", they dragged me to a nearby POS to do it with my card.
They initially demanded 150k each.
They were 4 in number.
These are the names I could copy:

"It's now or never—don't sit on the fence. We all know the 2027 general election is coming. I hear some people saying, 'Voting is not working, we're tired, we've been voting for years and nothing has changed.' Don't let them defeat you mentally.
It's time to stand our ground. We can't keep planning to go to church every Sunday and not plan to vote in the 2027 election. Your vote can make a difference. Everybody needs to come together. If you think your area is not safe enough, gather with other voters at your polling unit."
