He did it when he asked a 12 year old Leo what he wanted to do: return to Rosario with the family or stay in Barcelona? By staying, Jorge stayed with him and had to let his wife Celia go back with the rest of the family. Imagine

He was let down by many people on his way to find out how the business worked

He told Leo once to turn the car around and sign photographs, unlike what Ronaldinho had just done. He was a good person who instilled strong values in his son

Ebert asked Leo in his email: “Which actors did you respond to? Was there a particular film that struck you?”

DiCaprio responded: “Certainly Dana Andrews and Jimmy Stewart. And you know, on my own, Travis Bickel in Taxi Driver. The films that we saw ranged from Steel Helmet to Laura to Out of the Past to Vertigo to a documentary about a mental asylum called Titicut Follies. All of which are great points of reference when you’re on the set working with Mr. Scorsese.”

According to DiCaprio, these are the films used as a reference by Scorsese for Shutter Island.
