Markets must serve people’s needs, and the government’s only job is to establish the proper framework.

The government’s role is not to run businesses. However, governments should be held accountable if they fail to provide adequate infrastructure within the country.

The unfortunate reality in India is that power remains centralized and controlled by the PM, CM, and DM. True democracy requires decentralized power distributed among the people.

Making essential services like water, food, transportation, electricity, and education universally accessible should be the government’s first priority.

If we cannot educate our children, provide clean drinking water from taps, ensure adequate seating in public transportation, prevent power outages across the country, or offer sufficient healthcare facilities when the majority of the population is grappling with health challenges, what kind of economic foundation can we claim to have?

Economists and finance ministers are supposed to structure and regulate markets for us, the citizens of India.
