It's surreal to share this news, but there's no better day than on my birthday! Big shout out to @CardboardTruth over at @AllplayHQ for the trust and belief in the game for so many years, in the past and into the future! #SeizeTheBean
We’ve got big news to share regarding the long-awaited release of Seize the Bean 2nd Edition. Have a look at our release video...

The old theme was about fruits. The new theme is about books, specifically the street libraries of Berlin. This new direction wil guide art & our mini-expansions. Here’s another photo that more clearly shows the first version of Jeroen’s mini “goals” expansion we’re developing.
We won’t go into the specific rules and details now, but if that’s something you’re interested in don’t be shy to reach out to become a playtester as we’ll be playing a lot of Towers throughout April!

🌞At the end of last week we were back testing #TowersOfTheSun.
✂️We had some prototyping to do in order to compare and contrast the version from Allplay’s dev team with our original turned in ruleset.
📝Our testing is focused on the vanilla base game for now. There is expansion content but we’ll get to that later. We agree w/ many of the areas they’d like to improve, so we're mostly evaluating the solutions they’ve proposed, seeing if they match the game’s OG (& new) vision.
I won’t share all the potential rules changes here in this short update, but we’re testing some different selection rules for what you can take when you pull stones from the bag, along with a variety of different scoring and player elimination changes.
I was back to the physical #DragonEyes prototype over the weekend, continuing testing of Tim’s new, definitive ruleset. Here you can see the temporary prototype colors, before we begin experimenting with different paints to showcase the treasure’s more thematic colors.
