“The books that world calls immoral are books that show the world its own shame.”
- Oscar Wilde
Oscar Wilde (1854–1900) was an Irish poet, novelist, and playwright who became one of the most prominent literary figures of the Victorian era. Known for his sharp wit, clever satire, and memorable paradoxes, Wilde used humor to examine human behavior and challenge hypocrisy, vanity, and rigid social expectations.
Among his best-known works are The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Importance of Being Earnest, Lady Windermere’s Fan, and De Profundis. His writing frequently explored the tension between outward appearances and hidden realities, often transforming everyday observations into deeper reflections on society and human nature.
Wilde valued individuality, beauty, artistic expression, and the freedom to live authentically. His personal life, however, was shaped by controversy and persecution over his homosexuality. In 1895, he was convicted of “gross indecency” and sentenced to two years of hard labor, an experience that profoundly affected the final years of his life.
Demarcus Cousins on the Lebron James Free Agency decision:
"If Bron goes to Philly or Minnesota it'll get interesting. But honestly, I don't like how he was treated in LA. We're in the Era now where you can't speak up on his behalf. They'll say we're glazing or paid by Klutch. We're kind of getting to a point where our Legends aren't going out gracefully like they should. From Carmelo, to how CP3 was handled. Watching how the Lakers acted like Lebron isn't Lebron. Even Kevin Durant. So I just want him to go somewhere where he's appreciated and gets the flowers he deserves.

Strong words from Boogie
The Packers spent $325M on Micah Parsons, Zach Tom, and Nate Hobbs in the offseason, and none of them will play tonight. It's just been one of those years.
I may be sidelined, but I am not defeated. This injury is my greatest test—a moment God allowed to strengthen my testimony. I believe He walks with me through this storm and chose me for this fight because He knew my heart could carry it. I’m deeply grateful to the Packers organization and my teammates for their unwavering support, love, and belief in me during this season. I trust His timing, His plan, and His purpose. I will rise again.
Michael Wilbon says all the Bronny talk on ESPN is just for ‘clicks’ and refuses to discuss him the way other shows do
“I have a 17-year-old son, so this matters to me. I am particularly sensitive to it. I'd do anything for my kid, and I would hug LeBron for what he did for his kid. There were shows that talked about Bronny every day. You know what shows I'm talking about. I don't care if my bosses get mad. They would try to get Tony and me to talk about it. No, we were not going to do it…They talked about him more than Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. That's pandering. It's all pandering. Let me be clear: our business is a piece of sh*t a lot of days.”

Kendrick Perkins doesn’t understand why LeBron chose not to do the Mind of the Game podcast with guys like Richard Jefferson, Channing Frye, Phil Handy, or Draymond Green, and instead chose to do it with Steve Nash and JJ Redick 🤔

The Packers have an ascending roster that was (again) the youngest in the NFL, a healthy Cap situation (with Rodgers now off the books) and signed two Pro Bowlers in free agency last year.
And, as I know well, an excellent scouting department.
It hurts now, but they'll be fine.
The #Packers are the youngest team in the NFL.
They are 10-4.
They inked their future at QB.
Their offensive line is one of the best.
Their free agents have hit big time
Gutey is on a draft heater.
MLF is a top 5 coach.
I am BEGGING #Packers fans to enjoy this.
