ADVISORY
Please be advised that DILNET-WiFi will officially shut down campus-wide on 15 July 2024.
We encourage everyone to switch to our DILNET2.0 hotspot
DILNET2.0 offers several advantages such as:
1. One-time configuration on user devices.
2. Auto-connect to associated hotspots across the campus
3. Lower chances of connecting to a fake hotspot due to certificate features.
DILNET2.0 requires a DILNET account and one-time setup per device. Clients may also visit the DILNET HelpDesk at the University Computer Center for assistance in setting up the connection.
Out with the old, and in with the new ✨DILNET2.0✨
Connect to the new WiFi service by following the instructions via https://t.co/qL3Ya7IvQy and enjoy automatic connection whenever DILNET2.0 is in range. No more daily portal sign-ins!

Accounts generation for new students would be automatic. Just finish enrolment during the Advanced or Regular Registration Periods, and make sure your email address in CRS is correct.
NOTE: UP Diliman accounts suspended earlier today, but were accessed as of 1 May 2023, have been reverted and should be accessible again. We are coordinating with ITDC, service provider and administrator of UP Mail, in the transitioning of accounts moving forward.
Thank you.
ADVISORY on Suspension/Deactivation of UP Mail accounts.

ZOOM ADVISORY
Due to a 96% price increase, and accompanying procurement related concerns, the entire University System's Zoom subscription may not be renewed in time with the expiration of the current licenses on 8 July 2023. This includes all Zoom Meetings and Webinars.
This is still a developing situation. ITDC will release the official advisory in the coming days for clarifications, alternatives, and more information regarding web conferencing moving forward.
ADVISORY: VPN Connection
Please be advised that we will be regenerating the certificates used for the DILNET@Home VPN Service over the weekend.
Connection using the current OVPN configuration file will cease functioning by 25 June 2023.
VPN Solution remains the same, and will still use DILNET accounts to authenticate. Users would only need to update their configuration files.
We will automatically renew and reissue instructions to those who were provided VPN access this 2023.
