After four years full of challenges and hard work, it's time to move on.

I understand the rule — last man, denying a goal-scoring opportunity — but you have to look at the situation. The ball is not fully under control, the angle is not perfect, and there’s still a bit of distance to goal.

Are we sure he’s scoring? I’m not convinced.

For me, that’s a yellow card, not a red. Because once you send him off, you change the whole game. And in the Champions League, you need to be 100% sure.

🗣️🚨Do you remember Ancelotti’s famous statement back when he was Bayern’s coach after his game against Real Madrid, when he said people doubted Bayern’s abilities after being knocked out by Madrid, but that it was because of the referee Kassai?

Today Mourinho says he was sent off because he told the referee something obvious — that the referee had a paper saying Tchouaméni, Huijsen, and Carreira could not receive a yellow card so they wouldn’t miss the second leg, and he didn’t book them — even though Carreira deserved it twice.

Two of the most important figures and coaches in Real Madrid’s history, when they faced this dirty club, couldn’t handle all that injustice and immediately spoke about the referees.

And despite that, some Madrid fans and even some spineless “culés” blame Flick and previously Xavi for talking about referees while they watch this club’s “robberies” every week.
