I learned that owls can't move their eyes, but I decided that an owlbear is more like a bear in this regard.

@mmwoodcock @loishh I think some professionals are scared of the new technology, and right now due to lack of regulations, there is way more scammers on the market than should be. The harm for the environment is a valid point.

@mmwoodcock @loishh And honestly I think scams and theft existed before the NFTs, unfortunately. And I continue to hold my point of view that if I want to buy a jpg, for the sole purpose to throw money at an artist I like, just to support him/her is not the same as to download a jpg.

@mmwoodcock @loishh I totally see your point. I hope in the future ,the technology becomes less harmful to the environment. This is a real issue, leave aside the #NFTs , youtube videos and all digital forms of entertainment is not particularely environmental friendly.

@mmwoodcock @loishh A complicated topic obviously. I red it all, still I can't understand how NFTs harm artists. Monkeys and the other collectibles could be a money loundry, but if I like particular artist and want to support him buying his jpg, what's wrong?
