@suzania Doesn’t Deut. 22:23-24 imply a view that anything short of active resistance is consent? I’ve always struggled with that passage tbh.

[Nathaniel Palmer @diminutivesloop]

@NateOfford My parents and my sister definitely are. I’m more of a fair weather wordler myself.

[Nathaniel Palmer @diminutivesloop]

@NateOfford I seem to remember you not liking being scared by monsters. Get your story straight man.

[Nathaniel Palmer @diminutivesloop]

@NateOfford Well how else am I supposed to tickle the flesh then, Nate?

[Nathaniel Palmer @diminutivesloop]

@NateOfford Pump that hot cinnamon lava straight into my veins.

[Nathaniel Palmer @diminutivesloop]

@brannonmc I do software dev now, but I really appreciate the two summers I spent working a landscaping job. There’s something about being able to see the work you’ve done as a tangible thing in the world.

[Nathaniel Palmer @diminutivesloop]

@brannonmc They have them in the Greenville store now? Guess I just missed them.

[Nathaniel Palmer @diminutivesloop]

@joshcarlosjosh That’s so good I can only assume there’s already a book or podcast about worship music with that name hiding somewhere.

[Nathaniel Palmer @diminutivesloop]

@jake_meador @M_Y_Emerson @mattleeanderson @MatthewBArbo @matthewalapine working title: “Going to the Matt”

[Nathaniel Palmer @diminutivesloop]

@gruber Looks awesome and I’m glad they kept the quick swiping but I really hope I don’t have to buy a new Apple TV to get it.

[Nathaniel Palmer @diminutivesloop]

@TwitterSupport Hey it would be great if pinned lists supported auto-updating. I’m using a lists to follow the #AppleEvent and it’s annoying that I have to manually refresh to see the latests tweets.

[Nathaniel Palmer @diminutivesloop]

I’m not great at reaching out to people normally but this pandemic was just enough of an excuse to tip me over into completely indulging in habits of self-absorption and isolation. Lord-willing this coming season will be one of connection and outward focus.

[Nathaniel Palmer @diminutivesloop]

Time to start cooking up some takes

[Nathaniel Palmer @diminutivesloop]

Against my better judgment I’m gonna give this Twitter thing another try. To my future self, I’m sorry.

[Nathaniel Palmer @diminutivesloop]

@AlsoACarpenter Ah yes. I was focusing on the definition of systemic injustice and the overly broad “unequal outcomes” bit slipped right by me.

[Nathaniel Palmer @diminutivesloop]

@AlsoACarpenter What would you say to those who are trotting out Kendi’s assertion that all racial disparities are due to racial discrimination? Wouldn’t he more or less see all racial discrimination of consequence as systemic and therefore fall into Keller’s “left” category?

[Nathaniel Palmer @diminutivesloop]

@brannonmc I tried watching the Vox livestream and it just didn't feel right.

[Nathaniel Palmer @diminutivesloop]

@KSPrior @danlovejoy The Twitter app got too chatty with the Twitter server and so the server decided to put the app in timeout. In other words it’s all Twitter’s fault.

[Nathaniel Palmer @diminutivesloop]

@brannonmc Yeah I just wish there was more discussion of why or why not we should be concerned about voter fraud. The blanket dismissals strike me as obviously false and pointing out that mail-in voting has worked before ignores the much higher stakes and incentive to cheat this November.
