I recorded this THREE YEARS AGO today!!!

I posted this video hours before the “2020 COLLECTION” drop on NiftyGateway — a record breaking sale that caught the interest of Christie’s and helped set up that historic auction three months later…

It was clear to me at that time that people were starting to look at digital art in a very different way and that this process is actually not new, but something that other mediums had also went though where they were first considered just “craft” and then finally “art”.

Since then I have been fully blown away by the amount of progress in legitimizing digital art that has been made. The strength and depth of this community continues to amaze me and I am humbled and honored to be small part of it along side so many innovative and inspiring artists. 🙏🙏🙏

That being said we are still VERY, VERY early into this journey of digital art being appreciated and respected and we have so much work to do and areas to explore. Our world is getting more and more digital so I can’t wait to see where things go from here as new tools, techniques and possibilities for expression are literally being invented everyday!!!!
