@FreeSpeechOkie@selnor1983@gameinformer I’ve played many. Quality mode exists as an adequate alternative. The way you feel about 30 is exactly my feelings towards 60. Never played a game where 60 is better than 30. I just don’t like the way it makes my games look - everything moves at a very fast motion. Don’t like it.
@FreeSpeechOkie@selnor1983@gameinformer Because it works well and is better suited for specific games, not every single game that has ever been released or will be released needs the 60fps treatment.
@GearsofWar I really hope there’s a 4k/30 mode. Not everyone enjoys playing their game at 60fps including me who play on console. It doesn’t enhance the experience to me. I would love an option for 30fps in order to have cinematic/filmic effect. Not everything has to be at 60fps.

I'm concerned Asha may be listening too much to a very small but very loud segment of Xbox fans on X.
The parasocial crowd often dominates the conversation, but they don't necessarily represent the broader audience.
But what do I know.
@selnor1983@gameinformer Yes, but visuals are always downgraded 9 times out of 10 whenever you introduce 60fps because the engine and hardware can only handle so much. You always get better gfx when you lower the frames. That’s just a fact. The ultra-fluid motion makes the game look strange to me.
@Pepptro I think that was the plan all along. To introduce people outside of the Xbox ecosystem their games to eventually pull you in. It’s a business at the end of the day.
@Alykkat I feel like you’re saying that b/c girls tend to be more egalitarian/socialist at heart with everyone getting a fair chance, everyone getting a trophy, so on and etc. We live in a capitalist world with many companies that sells their own version of the product you love.
@e_onlee@XBOX Yeah because the internet is filled with hardcore gamers that love to push everything to the max. I love playing games at that frame rate b/c it doesn’t have the soap opera effect , it’s playable, and gives games a much more cinematic feel and look.
@Twinwar@geoffkeighley You’re playing with semantics and being too literal. There’s new leadership in town, Asha Sharmer, who’s not a gamer that is looking at it as a business purely. The heavy emphasis on Xbox as a console now you need exclusives and they’re starting with their OG franchises.
@codyward381036@XBOX Many players like myself are not fans of the soap opera that 60fps carries. It makes everything appear unnaturally smooth and fast.
