And please get on a different platform where the public can engage with you in conversation without being fed algorithmic authoritarian drivel. This platform is hateful and harmful.
@DomenicoNPR Re: the FCC 'equal time' story on NPR Politics yesterday. You said "...[Conservatives] feel like there are way too many of these networks that are pushing a liberal agenda in their view", and the same in varying ways.

But you know there's no way Trump or Carr would enforce equal time when it benefits Democrats. "Their view" is not in good faith. So please don't report their supposed world view as if it's sincere. This is about power and authoritarian control. Please report in context.
Why are you still here? If you use this platform you're supporting fascism. There are other platforms: mastodon, bluesky, instagram... use any of them. Just not this one until Elno divests.

If you are using this platform you are, in effect, supporting Donald Trump. Do not support fascism. Boycott Musk. Use another platform, there are many. https://t.co/NSzFiImwh0
This is done, with some sadness. I spent years curating my twitter feed and if I'm following/followed you it means I sincerely care about what you/your org have/has to say.
The very least we can all do to fight fascism is to not support it. It ought to be a bare minimum.
I'm unfollowing everyone with a blue or yellow checkmark - basically everyone paying the fascist/fascist-adjacent owner of this flailing webapp. Not that they should care since I'm only here to unfollow them. Mastadon is good and drama free, and doesn't track all your data, fyi
Elon Musk was just in a Twitter Space with a few journalists and after getting like 3 questions he had to leave because he couldn’t answer a single one
@RVAwonk I wish folks would stop giving him so much attention. It's what he wants.
He needs to prop up Twitter's metrics, and he is clearly using Donald Trump's model of playing the media in order to get it.
It's sad to watch history repeat itself.
Watching the right run the exact same wingnut-to-mainstream Benghazi play that lost Clinton the election, except supercharged x10 because they own the main means of communication, while Dems crow over how it’s a ridiculous distraction, and I feel a little like I’m losing my mind
The stuff uncovered in the Twitter whistleblower report is much crazier than anything in the "Twitter files" but it's much less politically/tribally salient so it got no attention. Going to do a thread on some of the craziest things, in no particular order.
So to summarize, lots of news orgs pass on fishy unconfirmed story. Finally NYPost runs with it. It has all the hallmarks of the Russian/Assange/Wikileaks stunt of 2016. Twitter has a policy for suppressing hacked material. It has all the hallmarks of a hack.
