@L4fckop @SamiHenchoz I'm just saying if Palace had found a suitable replacement before the big European game then the deal would of happened. Glasner threatened to quit so the deal got scrubbed .it wasn't because of the offer it was they needed to replace thier captain with someone Glasner wanted.

@L4fckop @SamiHenchoz Palace knew he was in the last year of his contract and had an important European game a couple of days before the transfer window closed. Glasner wanted a decent cb replacement for that game but they did not find anyone the manager thought to be suitable. Glasner was the reason

@johngibbonsblog I really think he was saving the forwards for the final and just went with the players not moving from a low block/ concede possession so threw on defenders . It was crazy how much they were overloading the left even with 10 around the box . I'm guessing we will never know . .

@beth_lindop Didn't his national team coach say he grew up wanting to play for Madrid . After the last two summers of prime age players leaving for nothing if the club didn't get him signed up we can't keep losing players to the Blanco tappers .

@AndresStein05 The whole team stopped playing and just retreated to the England box . This left us just giving the ball back to Argentina and not moving forward , which everyone knew wasn't a good idea . It was all really strange and must go back to poorer teams defending with top players !

@GravenberchYNWA Probably thought it's not worth the stick from the in laws . He probably would do a job for a top team but can be the main man there and get them back in the premiership would mean a lot for his reputation .

@Robbie9Fowler I was saying does he think we will just low block ( poorly considering the space around the edges still ) to save some of the attckers for the final ? I just did not understand it . The team has some low block Dna issues and Tuchel tried to add defenders instead of playing again.

@StevenD1977 It was mad the space they were leaving for shots and crosses when they have 4 or 5 reality good hitters from outside the box . Once we stopped running from the box it was always going to hard to stop them scoring .

@L4fckop @Tumpa_Lion They rest a lot of the team in the league games and he probably played the league phase more in the champions league . I guess he wants a bigger role on a team and maybe he isn't signing a new deal till he gets the games he wants so they're willing to sell for a massive fee. .

@L4fckop @Tumpa_Lion I thought the reason he was leaving is because he is on the bench for most of the big games but obviously he has got potential if given the chance more consistent run .

@L4fckop @Tumpa_Lion He was back up in a lot of the champions league games and he isn't a steady performance level for a massive price they have put on him . Maybe a starting place would give him consistency but I wouldn't spend anything close from the bits I have seen . .

@Dubs_LFC It depends if Newcastle have given them permission to speak with the player . It might also not be true, as we don't know what sources they are getting the info but I think clubs would be close to agreeing wages before they make a formal bid to the club .

@beth_lindop @Ryan_Nation_BFC My only thing with this is surely Liverpool should of went down the multi club route as if you spend 30 plus million and a player is not getting much game time the narrative is they are a flop and they probably don't achieve what they should and go elsewhere to rebuild.
