Sci Hub is a "pirate" website with 88M research papers freely available.
Using it is not advisable. We should all try to make billion-dollar acdemic publishers richer.
Here's a thread on integrating Zotero with Sci Hub to get free articles.
PLEASE DON'T DO THIS 😉

👉 Mental Health Care needs to include arts: very important to realise that art therapy is an university profession with many (other) skills than 'just using art' to improve mental health ❤
Thank you to @ArtsPro for highlighting our recent call for #creativehealth to form part of the Government's forthcoming 10-year plan for mental health and wellbeing.

When artmaking is embedded in a therapeutic relationship and process it is #arttherapy#beeldendetherapie without, art making is like having (just) a conversation.
This is important, but it needs some differentiation: mindfullness expanses the noticing- both joyfull ánd painfull. That's why it's important to combinate this with working on other, more active coping. #arttherapy can offer both, since it's a highly in integrative intervention.
After #trauma, it's hard to experience joy. This is due to multiple reasons, not least because the brain regions connected with joy are shut down. 'Noticing' (mindful awareness) reactivates them, especially the medial prefrontal cortex: https://t.co/qud5B70G90

Wonderful talk by our distinguished gust Prof. @RRPcreativity about measuring creativity. And inspiring us to implement it in arts therapies research. @APADivision10@UofHaifa
I've been reflecting more on the centrality of nonverbal elements and states in #psychotherapy these days. My own experience agrees that #arttherapies can deepen and enrich the therapy process, and sometimes lead to important breakthroughs.
