NO TO BODY SHAMING
“No to body shaming. Yes to accountability. End corruption,” ayon sa grupo.

Tao sa taong usapan, ganyan ang @Makabayan2025! @LizaMaza visited a community of farmers in Mindoro as part of Makabayan’s National Solidarity Mission.
There is no such thing as "LGBTQ+ rights."
The rights the LGBTQ+s demand are actually basic human rights - the right against discrimination, right to expression, right to marry and form a family, access to healthcare, etc. - that EVERYONE should enjoy regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression.
LGBTQ+s are not asking for special treatment. What they want is equal treatment.
At di ko ever aatrasan sabihin: the entire MAKABAYAN slate!
11 out of 11 are YES to SOGIESC Equality Bill and marriage equality.
Each stands for a sector, complimenting each others’ campaigns to promote a comprehensive life of dignity for all — including LGBTQ+ Filipinos 🏳️🌈
#1. @ArleneBrosas!
Principal author of the SOGIESC Equality Bill.
Pinakamaraming sinulong na measures for LGBTQ+ Filipinos in the history of Congress, including: resos vs transphobic Oplan X-Men, assistance for tranenes blocked from schooling, probes on transgender hate crimes.
This 2025, ihalal natin ang ipaglalaban tayo.

Of course, it is ironic that the ATL which VP Sara’s father railroaded into passage could now be used against her.
This only goes to show how broken the law is, and we’ve seen it used many times over against human rights defenders.
VP Sara must go. So must the Terror Law.
It’s been raised that VP Sara might be charged under the ATL.
As a principle, we in Makabayan disagree with the use of the Terror Law to target oppositors of the ruling clique. More productively, Sara must be charged with pertinent criminal, administrative, and impeachment raps.
