I was just revising my notes and I came across this profound concept Al-Imām Ibnul Qayyim wrote about that destroys the lazy fatalism people hide behind: you fight qadar (destiny) with qadar. Meaning, if something is decreed against you, you fight it with action that is also decreed (and is in your control). Sickness is destiny—so is medicine. Poverty is destiny—so is work. Failure is destiny—so is striving again. To sit back and say “if it's meant to happen, it'll happen” isn't the tawakkul we think it is. It is more negligence a lot of times than the tawakkul we try to label it.

The Prophet SAW said: “Strive for what benefits you, ask for Allah's help (in attaining it), and do not give up.” Allah has written your provision, yes, but He's also written the means by which it reaches you—and often, you are the means. Your effort is part of the decree.

And this is where people get it backwards. They think because the outcome is already known to Allah, the effort is pointless. But the effort was never separate from the outcome. It's woven into it. You were always going to try, and the result was always going to be what it is, but your striving is what activates the mercy, the growth, the reward embedded in the process. Even if it doesn't work out the way you hoped, it wasn't wasted. You became someone different through the attempt. You gained strength, resilience, knowledge and experience. And then you go again. That's the mentality. “and that each person will only have what they endeavoured towards, and that (the outcome of) their endeavours will be seen (in their record)”

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Once again, the platforms of this world have shown their reality. One of the accounts that was used to spread the da’wah of Shaykh Ahmad Musa Jibril (حفظه الله تعالى) sharing nothing but reminders and beneficial clips got banned without no strikes on TikTok. It wasn’t banned for Fasād, not for indecency, but for content that touches upon realities they wish buried SubhanAllāh. In reviewing the reasons for the Ban it was Videos wherein the Shaykh made references to matters like the Epstein files and the defence of the Muwāhideen in his lecture about Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab (رحمه الله تعالى). Those were enough for them to move swiftly in silencing voices. SubhanAllāh the truth is not what they oppose in claim, but what they fear in reality.

Do they think they can extinguish what Allah has decreed to remain? Do they believe that by deleting accounts they can erase the light of the da’wah from the hearts of the believers? By Allah, they only expose their own fear. For if the message of Shaykh Ahmad Musa Jibril (حفظه الله تعالى)was weak, if it was insignificant, it would have been left to die on its own. But the fact that it is targeted, restricted, and removed is a testimony that it carries weight, that it reaches hearts, and that it unsettles falsehood.

Allah says:

﴿يُرِيدُونَ لِيُطْفِئُوا نُورَ اللَّهِ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَاللَّهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ﴾

“They wish to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, even if the disbelievers detest it.”

We do not respond with despair. We do not respond with retreat. Rather, we respond with certainty in Allah and firmness upon the truth. Every ban is not a setback alhamdulillah it is a reminder that this path has always been one of trials. The Prophets were opposed. The scholars were imprisoned. The callers to truth were silenced yet the truth remained, and it will remain.

But let this be a warning to those who watch from the sidelines while benefiting from the Shaykhs da’wah. Enough of passivity. Enough of consuming without carrying. If you have benefited from the words of the Shaykh, if your Imān has been strengthened, if your heart has been awakened then know that you are not excused from responsibility.

This Deen is not carried by personalities, nor confined to accounts and channels. It is carried by men and women who are willing to stand, to speak, and to convey regardless of the consequences. If one account falls, ten must rise in its place. If one voice is silenced, a hundred must speak.

Do not wait for others. Do not deceive yourself into thinking your role is merely to listen. Spread the reminders. Share the truth. Defend the methodology of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم). Support the scholars who stand firm upon it. Let your platforms become means of service for this Deen, even if you think they are small for with Allah, nothing done sincerely is ever small.

They can attempt to silence voices, but they will never silence the truth bi’idhnillah.

Al-Fudayl ibn Iyad, may Allah have mercy on him, said:
“If you see oppressors taking revenge on other oppressors, stand and observe in astonishment.”

When you see the greatest enemies of Islam in this era, those with the most blood of Muslims on their hands, turning against one another and weakening themselves through their conflicts, let your heart be soothed and turn to Allah in gratitude.

Sometimes, Allah soothes hearts by letting oppressors and tyrants orchestrate their own downfall through their conflicts and wars.

“We make the wrongdoers destructive to one another because of their misdeeds.” (6:129)

The parties involved in this war, the US along with their awliyā’, the leaders of the Gulf, as well as the Rafidah and the Yahud, are enemies, equally guilty and steeped in crimes against Islam and Muslims. Their hands are stained with the blood of countless innocents, and to true believers who grasp the depth of their kufr and the enormity of their crimes, each is as condemned as the next, none surpassing the other in guilt. They vied ruthlessly in their oppression and in betraying the Muslims.

Malik ibn Dinar, may Allah have mercy on him, said:
"I read in the revealed Books of Allah that Allah, the Exalted, said: ‘I destroy My enemies through My enemies, and then I destroy them through My awliyā’.’"

May Allah prolong their strife so that they are preoccupied with one another and weakened, and may He raise to leadership on this earth the Muslims they betrayed, oppressed, and harmed, so that Tawheed may be established across the earth!

May Allah safeguard every innocent Muslim wherever this conflict occurs!
