Amazing skills!

The pilot of @HAFspokesperson managed to safely land the F-16 fighter without landing gear. The aircraft looks intacts with the fire probably coming from fuel leakage that got ignited from either the friction or the heat of the engine.

The pilot is seen getting inside the van at the start of the video.

The Hellenic Navy conducted another SINKEX exercise in the Ionian Sea.

The missiles fired are:
- 1 Harpoon SSM missiles from a MEKO 200 frigate
- 2 Exocets Block 2 missiles from an equal number of Super Vita FACM
- 1 Hellfire missile from a MH-60R helicopter
- 2 70mm rocket from a MH-60R helicopter

*Note the trajectory of the Exocet missiles compared with the Harpoon. The former are immediately conducting a maneuver to get closer to sea level while the Harpoon missile is entering a tradition ballistic like trajectory.

The target ships were:
- A-479 Karavogiannos
- A former HN tug boat

1. Ναι, άλλες πηγές ενέργειας είναι πιο φτηνές και πιο φιλικές στο περιβάλλον.
2. Ναι, η βιομηχανία λιγνίτη καταστρέφει το τοπικό περιβάλλον.

Όμως
1. Δεν γίνεται να κλείνουν και να κατεδαφίζονται εργοστάσια παραγωγής λιγνίτη
2. Δεν γίνεται να καταστρέφεται ο Βάρης εξοπλισμός

Γιατί αν στο μέλλον δεν μπορούμε λόγω εξωγενών παραγόντων να προμηθευτούμε πετρέλαιο και αέριο σε επαρκής ποσότητες και σε καλή τιμή, πώς θα μπορούμε να παράξουμε επαρκές ποσότητες ρεύματος χωρίς να καταστρέψουμε οικονομικά τις οικογένειες;

Πρέπει να υπάρχει σχέδιο για το μέλλον και για κάθε σενάριο.

Η ΕΑΒ παρουσίασε κατά την άσκηση "Δούρειος Ίππος" το ολοκληρωμένο σύστημα Υπερίων.

Το σύστημα που είναι ολοκληρωμένο σε προστατευμένο κιβώτιο, περιλαμβάνει ικανότητες C2, ηλεκτροπτικό σύστημα και ακουστικός αισθητήρες. Το Υπερίων, ενσωματώνει ESM, ECM και παθητικό ραντάρ.

Η δοκιμή του συστήματος στα πλαίσια της άσκησης στέφθηκε με επιτυχία.

The Franco-German FCAS program collapsed as both sides didn't make any concessions.

Both @Dassault_OnAir and @AirbusDefence wanted to play the major part in the development of the 6th generation fighter jet and thus this development was to be expected.

Could Greece via @HAIcorp manage to play a role in the successor of the FCAS together with Dassault?

Least we forget

It was 6th of June 1944 when the allied forces landed on the shores of Normandy in an effort to free Europe from the German forces. Almost half a million troops were involved from the allied side in the operation which includes ground, naval and air force personnel.

❗It's official

Sweden chooses the French FDI frigate. 🇨🇵🇸🇪🇬🇷

As announced today by the Swedish PM, Ulf Kristerson (@SwedishPM), the country is set to procure 4 frigates of the type by 2030 for 4.25 billion euros.

The ships will integrate sensors and weapons provided by @Saab in collaboration with @navalgroup.

A big win for some Greek companies as well as parts of the frigates are getting manufactured in the country. Blocks of the ships are fabricated in @SalamisShipyard and are transported to Lorient.

❗Ukrainian 🇺🇦 USV drone spotted in Greece 🇬🇷.

A stranded Ukrainian "Magura" type drone was spotted by fishermen off the island of Lefkada in the Ionian Sea.

It's worth noting that on March 18th, the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out a covert operation off the coast of Malta where they struct the Russian shadow fleet LNG tanker 'Artic Metagas' by using such USV drones.

If this vessel carries explosives (3 triggers can be spotted at the bow of the drone) then Ukraine should have reported the loss of contact with this vessel to the Greek authorities as it's a clear safety violation.

❗The Emir of Qatar is visiting Athens today 🇬🇷🇶🇦

The Emir, Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani of Qatar, expressed his thanks towards the Greece and the people for their stance during the Iran War Crisis and thanks Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis for the help given to Qatar.

The Emir also stated that he's looking forward for Qatar to invest even more on Greece with an amount that will surpass 1 billion dollars.

The Jacques Chevallier 🇨🇵 (@MarineNationale) fleet tanker was spotted yesterday in the Elefsis Bay, Athens, Greece 🇬🇷.

The vessel, which is part of Charles De Gaulle CSG (@French_CSG) most likely stopped for re-supply from the Greek oil refineries near Elefsis.

Ship logistics during active missions is a very important task and ensures the continues operations of forces and their survival.

Tom Barrack is back at his propaganda and misinformation campaign.

The US Congress should investigate connections between Barrack and Erdogan.

Greece is a loyal ally and friend of the US who has stood by their side in every conflict since the Second World World. Turkey on the other hand is an ally of Russia, Iran and China.

The S-300 system was given to Greece under a US agreement instead of ending up in Cyprus and that was during a time in the 90s when the USA and Russia had smoother relations while the systems themselves are not comparable to the newer S-400.

The continuous propaganda of Barrack and his continuous push of Erdogan's agenda in the US should be investigated.

The Hellenic Air force took delivery of the 50th upgraded F-16 Block 70 fighter jet by @LockheedMartin and @HAIcorp.

At this point, the Hellenic Air force ( @HAFspokesperson) has the biggest fleet of AESA equipped fighters in Europe.

The numbers are:
F-16 Block 70 -> 50 (+70)
Rafale F3R -> 24
F-35A -> 0 (+20)

By the end of the decade, HAF is expected to operate a total of 164 AESA equipped fighter jets (144 4.5++ gen and 20 5 gen) while additional orders of Rafales and F-35 are expected.
