We are still carrying so much from this day.
Thank you to our incredible Summit host, Courtnee Futch-Brinson, all of our sponsors, partners, and attendees who are investing in this work — and in the future of Black women in this industry! 🤎
After a full day of insight and learning, we gathered around some of DC’s most delicious restaurants for our Dine Around experience. Presented in partnership with @OpenTable, it was a chance to relax, laugh, break bread, and build community in a more intimate way. 🥂
During the interactive workshop, "Forging a Purposeful Leadership Path" presented by @KraftHeinzCo, we wrote out our goals, spoke our visions aloud, and thought intentionally about the kind of leaders we are becoming.
We kicked off the 4th annual #BlackWomenInFood Summit with our Executive Leadership Workshop and Luncheon at the historic True Reformer Building to reflect, connect, and strategize on our next moves in this industry. We are so grateful for this community as we ascend together! ✨
Hosted by Sherry Ephraim, attendees were pen to paper listening to industry leaders @AbaKwawu and Eliana Hassen on what it truly takes to build winning teams, create cultures rooted in trust, and navigate change with intention.
We’re calling for volunteers to support the 2026 Black Women in Food Summit! From helping us welcome guests to supporting sessions and behind-the-scenes magic. Applications close 2/9. https://t.co/axYCgNLBWg
