I don't want to pay Rs.5000 for a card which I am not using.

ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ @siddaramaiah ಅವರು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಭವನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸದಾಶಿವ ಶೆಣೈ ಅವರ "ಅಭಿನಯ ಶಾರದೆ ಜಯಂತಿ" ಅವರ ಜೀವನಗಾಥೆ "Lovely But lonely" ಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ಲೋಕಾರ್ಪಣೆಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.

ಜಯಂತಿ ಅವರ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು. ಜಯಂತಿ ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸದಾ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಹೀರೋ ಅಂತ ಕರಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಜಯಂತಿ ಅವರು ಅಪಾರ ಮನುಷ್ಯತ್ವ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದ ಸ್ನೇಹಜೀವಿ ಆಗಿದ್ದರು. ಕಲಾವಿದೆಯಾಗಿ ಜಯಂತಿಗೆ ಜಯಂತಿಯವರೇ ಸಾಟಿ ಆಗಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರು ಮಾನವೀಯವಾಗಿ ಬದುಕನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿ ಬದುಕನ್ನು ಸಾರ್ಥಕಗೊಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ನನ್ನ ಮತ್ತು ಜಯಂತಿ ಅವರ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳು ಒಂದೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದವು. ಅವರು ಸಮಾಜ ಪ್ರೇಮಿ, ಮಾನವೀಯತೆಯ ಪ್ರೇಮಿ ಆಗಿದ್ದರು.

ವಿಶ್ವದ ಯಾವುದೇ ಭಾಷೆಯ ಸಿನಿಮಾಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆ ಸಿನಿಮಾಗಳು ಒಳ್ಳೆ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟ ಕಾಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡಿವೆ. ನಾನು ಸದಾ ನಮ್ಮ ಕನ್ನಡ ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗದ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಲ್ಲುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಿನಿಮಾಗಳಿಗೆ 100% ತೆರಿಗೆ ವಿನಾಯ್ತಿ ಘೋಷಿಸಿದ್ದು ನಾನೇ.

ಪಿ.ಲಂಕೇಶ್ ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ಗುರುಗಳ ರೀತಿ. ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ ಕಚೇರಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ.
