As a poet, language matters. The choice to go with “lethal” is so nasty & evil & bothersome. Lethal has intention. Lethal has flair and no remorse. As someone politicized in the post 9/11 anti-war movement, I’m having flashbacks. Lethal is a license to disregard accountability.
