@deanbeanyouhear@travismillerx13 Bro a league is a league and winning a league doesn't make you world champion it makes you a league champion because when you say world it means the player/team is representing their respective country and not a state of the country
@deanbeanyouhear@travismillerx13 I am not debating Lyles and his age here and just because they set it up this way before us doesn't make it a logical way to define being world champions
@deanbeanyouhear@travismillerx13 But it is a very biased metric to conclude being champions of the world when every other sports outside the US is using a world cup/world championship format to crown a world champion
@deanbeanyouhear@travismillerx13 So you're telling me if China had the best players from across the world in their league and whichever team wins then that team would be champions of the world??? That don't make no sense fam
@deanbeanyouhear@travismillerx13 Let's use logic here for a second, the title for boxing is open for anyone from anywhere in the world to challenge for that title hence why they can label it as such because anyone in the world can compete for it.
@deanbeanyouhear@travismillerx13 What you saying don't make sense. In order to dub a team champions of the world, the team has to consist of players only from that country playing against other players of their respective countries in a tournament and winning said tournament, a world cup just to label it
