Scientists have captured footage of the “ugliest shark on the planet” alive in its natural habitat for the first time
Goblin sharks have rarely been sighted due to their deep-sea habitat and experts say we know virtually nothing about them
Complain about her design and compare her to Luz all you want, but at least she’s actually visibly ethnic (big eyebrows, big nose) AND created by two Southeast Asian women directors (Thai and Filipina)
Probs the best design I’ve seen since Mirabel
> quirky weird girl
> doesn't fit in at school
> schools mascot is an owl
> gets in trouble with school
> goes to magic world
> she's "meant for something more"
ok disney
waiit so you're telling me that deep sea animals actually look NORMAL and CUTE when they're in their natural habitat and not exposed to thousands of tons of negative pressure!??? wooooowww what a shocker who would've guessed
Like, I’m not gonna try and say that this has no heart behind it or that the creative team has no heart behind it, but this really reeks of “Disney put this in the works in like late 2022/early 2023 cause they wanted a more palatable inoffensive Owl House”
Upper class men will use pics of lower caste, underprivileged men working in inhumane conditions, appropriate their struggle and proclaim “feminism ends here”
Beyond that, they never give a shit about improving their working conditions and treating them as dignified human beings rather than disposable labour.
