The crater from the road collapse in front of Vajira Hospital continued to expand until around 2 PM.

At 10:35 AM, a pickup truck that had nearly fallen into the sinkhole was lifted out safely.

By 1:25 PM, rain caused more soil beneath the Sam Sen Police Station to give way, sliding deeper into the crater while two rescue workers rappelled down to recover a car that had fallen in. Both were pulled up safely.

Later, at 1:50 PM, the concrete platform where the pickup had been parked collapsed, with ongoing soil movement making vehicle recovery increasingly difficult.
