one of my daily struggles as someone with major depression are the everyday thoughts of just distancing myself. i try to lean against those urges and say to myself repeatedly "do not isolate yourself" - but it's truly exhausting and still shows effect onto my social interactions
it’s never too late to bloom. everyone has their own pace and their own season, so don’t feel rushed just because someone else is growing faster. you’re allowed to take your time, start over, and find your own way. even the prettiest flowers need time to bloom, and so do you! 🪷
reminder: if using your voice, expressing your needs, or being yourself was “too much” for someone- they were never meant to be a part of your longterm journey. please remember the right people will never want you to silence yourself for their own comfort.
i had to set my pc back and forgot to make a screenshot of my pen pressure settings. chat i am cooked. drawing now feels so differently and i always struggle badly to get used to a new feeling of how to draw lmao
i am considering to host a little secret-santa art event on my discord!! if any moot wanna join and isn't a member yet let me know and i'll invite u! <33
Bed rotting and depression aren’t aesthetic or trendy. There’s nothing romantic about losing motivation, isolating yourself, neglecting your needs or struggling to get through the day. Stop glamorizing something that ruins people’s lives. It’s not a lifestyle, it’s a struggle.
