Which was weird bc yesterday, while I did fight some friends in my lobbies, generally I have seen about 3 teams spawn per match still.

@MarathonDevTeam I am begging you, PLEASE make Cryo Archive open from October 6th, to onward- with Thurs/Sunday being Ranked mode and other days lower tiered loot and restrictions. Vault Breaker returning is great, it is not enough for people to truly understand the Archive and mechanics.

@PaulTassi Comparing a still playable video game out of all video games- even if it was very one of a kind is the biggest strawman in gaming history.

Anyway a small niche of people would still play it- and most likely branch off to a new sport if they already didnt do so.

@BrianChe371099 @casualblu3 That's awesome and congrats on the hours. I am just saying, even at 700 hours and done everything- it is not much of a shakeup to what is being done now. It's not a weird take whatsoever- simply stating this is basically 'free Gold key' for lobby wipers. Your rhetoric proves it.

@BrianChe371099 @casualblu3 Actually.. better question. Why would I want to wipe the lobby 3 times in order to get something I could with two without a quest step- to try a Supply drop gun two weeks early? That's really what it boils down to for the event.

While the boost is nice- it doesn't add anything different, which is the problem for numbers right now. I've done everything in Marathon, what does this do for me or the casual

@Dc199911 @frogpitgaming This doesn't make sense even in a strawman standpoint. Embark had much less time to work on Arc and changed a very niche gaming style by casualfying it and most importantly bringing it to consoles.

Even if it is a trend chase, is it worse than nostalgia baiting remakes?

@Dc199911 @frogpitgaming No. These were brand new IPs, outside of Marathon returning back in the limelight (been in contracts since 2011). We still don't know what type of game Sony took from them and gave to another developer team as well.

@Dc199911 @frogpitgaming Are we forgetting there were minimum 3 games they were developing outside of, and DURING Destiny- making this 1 of 4 diversified areas in gaming.

This is like if an offshoot of DICE wanting to make a destructable arena shooter, then trying their hand w extraction.
