Lukwago was an easy job for us. Personally, I always thought he was very DAFT! I mean just look at the shape of his head. SQUARE! But I'm a merciful man. I will release him when I'm ready.
I hear there is a woman called MATEMBE. She thinks she is anything other than a very OLD, UGLY woman? I'm going to teach her the manners her many husbands should have taught her!
RETIREMENT BENEFITS SECTOR IS CENTRAL TO ACHIEVING TENFOLD GROWTH:
Finance Minister @henrymusasizi1 last evening said pension funds provide the long-term domestic capital needed to finance investment,deepen our capital markets,support infrastructure development and reduce dependence on external financing.

Happy birthday to our CDS General Mubarakh Muganga @Mubarak59362229
Rwanda is truly blessed to have people like you who understand that Rwanda’s integrity depends on men and women willing to go the extra mile to protect, develop, and give hope to Rwandans today and to future generations.
Tugukunda turi benshi.
My uncle...His majesty the Kabaka is a Muchwezi! I have said this many times. Anyone who DARES to touch him touches me...and there will be HELL to pay.
The structural change that would actually matter. mandate @UNOC_UG to use its revenue share to capitalise @udc_uganda. Not donor dependency. National capital from national resources. That is the path. The pipeline is not the victory. What we build with it is.
Ebola is a health crisis. But anyone calling it only a health crisis is not thinking carefully enough. Our western border with DRC is not a line. It is a wound porous, under-resourced, under surveilled.
1,094 cases in DRC. 277 dead. Uganda already reporting transmission. The question for our security planners is not "how do we treat Ebola." It is "what else can cross where Ebola crossed?"
Border security is national security. Not a health budget line.
@mkainerugaba@BalaamBarugahar
Afande @mkainerugaba Uganda is about to receive its first serious oil revenue. Here is why most of it will not reach the peasant. @EACOP_ is 80%+ complete. First oil is projected for H2 2026. This is real. This is historic. But history is also the best teacher of what happens next. @TotalEnergiesUG holds 62% of EACOP. @UNOC_UG holds 15%. Tanzania 15%. @CNOOCUgandaLtd 8%.
This means for every $100 of oil exported, @UNOC_UG keeps $15 before costs, before debt servicing, before the fiscal arrangements written into host government agreements. @KagutaMuseveni's formula has always been extract first, refine later. The refinery was supposed to come before the pipeline. It did not. Oil will flow to #Tanga before a single Ugandan barrel is processed on Ugandan soil. Nkrumah warned us in 1965. Raw material export under foreign ownership is colonialism with a different logo. We are now testing whether he was right. The structural change that would actually matter: mandate @UNOC_UG to use its revenue share to capitalise @udc_uganda. Not donor dependency. National capital from national resources. That is the path. The pipeline is not the victory. What we build with it is.

@PNyamutoro
HE. @KagutaMuseveni as you may already know. In 2025, Ugandans in the diaspora remitted a record US$2.5 billion (about UGX 9.3 trillion) back home. In the same year, Uganda attracted a historic US$3.5 billion in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). Why haven't we built a national framework that strategically channels part of this diaspora capital into productive investments, industrialization, and wealth creation instead of mainly consumption? The answer to Uganda's transformation may not only lie in attracting foreign investors but rather in organizing Ugandans themselves.
