official BURNER account of a disgruntled former DePaul Fan-Chicago/NW Indiana Sports Nut- everything is better spicy

@ChiSportUpdates This is not college or high school where you are alums. Your are hired, payed to do a job, and no longer work there. Who goes to their former employer and expects to be consulted? Forte played for the Jets too should they contact him as well? Most NFL players on multiple teams
@CoachOx There are Karen's complaining about Beard now. They would complain about a black coach too. Nothing wrong with what he did nor if it were any coach standing up for his team. And we need to stop this, its a coach!! No qualifier needed or we will never move on
@GeoffreyQuinn7@SouthSideDemon2@BlueDemonsAD The program hasn't been in its glory years since the late 80's early 90's. Need a winning record in the BE first and NCAA appearance would be nice. There is no quick fix for this dumpster fire of a program. Because they have been a power before doesnt mean it happens overnight
@BigBubba74@JoeBreslin7@BlueDemonsAD There are ALOT of reasons why DePaul is not doing same stuff as you say. And there is 1 in particular. You dont need a hungry young coach you just need any coach with recruiting chops, development skills and actually can coach in game.
@CoachCiepierski All though all of those programs had a few droughts not one of those programs have had as long of a miserable run as depaul. The record the last 20 years is pretty horrendous. I dont disagree it cant be turned its just an awful job like Oregon St, Fordham, Northwestern, BC, etc
@CoachCiepierski Plus very good conference with schools with better facilities, better academics, better fan support, better alumni and donor support, and some elite coaches. Not impossible but lots to start to overcome
@CoachCiepierski True. That was step 1. Still a huge hill to climb. She ruined program to the depths. Lots to overcome: losing culture, lack local interest, off campus arena, poor practice facility, Chicago has poor reputation with out of town recruits parents and locals want to get far away
@GreggDoyelStar No one ever said Miller's Dayton teams were soft, so what changed? Did he become dumb over night or is it just a matter of this is not a good fit for Miller. Calling out your team whole other story
@GreggDoyelStar To be fair teams that are not tough w bad hoops IQ always look poorly coached. The problem is mistakes in recruiting period. No one would ever question K/Duke success but his team this year lacks grit, that is inherent you cannot teach it. Poor evaluation talent over substance
